Mental Health Counseling (Psychotherapy)

Not overly comfortable with the idea of working with the body? Mental health counseling can be a good way to lay groundwork for a more somatic approach.

Mental health is a continuum, and for many of us our mental health changes depending on what is happening in our lives. Clarity offers mental health counseling focused on relieving mental and emotional distress through meaningful conversation, inquiry, psychoeducation, and experiential exercises. Counseling is available for mental health conditions such as anxiety and depression, or for support during difficult times that might include life change, loss, weighing decisions, or working through parts of one’s past.

Clarity’s approach to mental health counseling is rooted in a humanistic approach that draws from cognitive-behavioral, trauma recovery, narrative, mindfulness, and existential therapies.
